Personal Statement
Dear Coaches,
My name is Ashley Brightman and I am currently a freshman attending Richland High School. My high school team was the Freshman team and we completed the season undefeated. We all played very well together. I improved on my approch and my formation of my hands for when I set the ball. I am really looking forward to improving and getting better every single day and I will, and am going to try my absolute hardest and put all my effort into each practice and game. My dream has been to play in College volleyball and also to make Varsity in high school. I am also trying out this week for my first year in club volleyball and I am greatly looking forward to my future accomplishments and improvement that I'm striving for. - This was a camp put on by Northwest University helping high school girls improve their games both mentally and physically. The camp taught on how to see angles and team placement, attacking the ball, transitioning footwork, keys to ball redirection, proper defensive strategy, and positional strategy.
