Personal Statement

I am well balanced athlete, who has been a team leader in select hockey, basketball, swimming, and baseball since a very early age.

I have been fortunate in baseball to have many great experiences at a local, state, national, and international level.  One of my most amazing experiences was winning the Latin American Baseball Classic in the DR, hitting #3, representing my country for the opening ceremonies, and being the starting pitcher in the Championship game.

The baseball was amazing, but being able to spend time in the NPH orphanage, and help others while I was there, made a lasting impression.

That trip inspired me to work hard, and continue to volunteer in my community.

Being able to travel internationally with my family, and being selected to play for different local and national teams, has helped me adjust to many different approaches.  I am a very hard worker, as my grades and achievements in sports will show.  I believe my greatest strengths are the ability to lead, communicate with others, and be a role model in my community, school, and faith.

I would like to pursue a career like my parents in business or become a doctor, if baseball doesn't work out.
