I have big goals for myself just as any other athlete does. What makes me different is that I am willing to put in the time to improve my game. I am a very hard worker on the court, whether it is during practice or games. I am very coachable and I value receiving direction from coaches. On the court, I excel with my speed and defensive skills. I have a good shot and can take the ball to the hoop through contact. I have great stamina and I'm able to work hard for a long time. I also do a great job of sharing the ball. If a teammate is up ahead and I have the ball, I use my great court vision as I pass the ball up in order for our team to score. I’m not a selfish player, and I realize that I’m only as good as my team. My ultimate goal is to play at the collegiate level.
I don't only work hard on the court, though, I work very hard in the classroom as well. I have had a 4.0 all throughout my educational career. I study hard and I am a great student. I am also a great friend in the classroom. I have participated in many groups such as: National Junior Honor Society (tutoring and helping make the community a better and more welcoming place), Peer to Peer (helping fellow students fit in better while being there when they need me), Most Teens Don't (a campaign that teaches teens the effects of alcohol and substance abuse), and Student Council (listening to my class peers for advice on how to make the school a better and more fun learning environment).
I am blessed to have the opportunity to play in a time where I can promote myself to be the best I can be. I am a great Student-Athlete and I will continue to work hard on and off the court.
