Personal Statement
Playing in the USA Junior National Championship as an eleven year old and the next summer making it to the quarterfinals of the National Beach Championships were the best memories of my volleyball life, so far. Playing in these competitions makes me want to work even harder every year to get to the top. Every time I don't make it to the top it pushes me to make it the next time.
Volleyball has influenced me by instilling in me a strong work ethic and a desire to become a leader on and off the court. I believe these qualities will help me achieve my lifelong goal of being a registered nurse. I am hoping volleyball will be a way of continuing to improve my leadership skills and provide me a competitive outlet while studying nursing in college.
