Personal Statement

My collegiate goals are to play competitive soccer at a high level upon my graduation in 2020.  My aspiration which I have been told is highly achievable by my high school and club coaches is to play Division I or Division 2.   This year was my second season being the starting goalkeeper for the Anthony Wayne High School Girls Varsity Soccer Program.   We had the most successful season ever in school history.  In the middle of our season, we were ranked 10th in the OHSAA Coaches Poll for Division 1 girls soccer.   We also had the winningest season with a 15-3-1 record, while allowing only 13 goals the entire season.  Individually, I had 11 shutouts and 51 saves.  I was selected by my teammates as the captain of my high school team this season as a sophomore.  My coaches quote my greatest strengths as communication, reaction saves, hand strength and reading the game.  I have the unique ability to organize the field by being a vocal quarterback during the natural flow of the game as well as free kicks and corner kicks.  As a person I strive to reinforce positivity,  be compassionate, consistent, approachable and a problem solver.  I also pride myself on working very hard in the classroom by maintaining a cumulative GPA of 4.3.  In addition to playing club soccer, I play basketball for my high school throughout the winter months.  Please if you find after reviewing my profile I can be a potential recruit for your program, email me any questions or camp opportunities you may have.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
