E. Jacob Briscoe ...Personal Statement
I have played soccer since I was 5 years old and have always had a goal of playing at the college level. I will always work to make myself better both in soccer and in the classroom, since I am very passionate and competitive about my academics and the sports I play. I’m also a member of my school district's Equity Team, one of six students selected out of 3000. Our goal is to ensure that each student receives what they need to reach their academic and social potential.
The dedication and discipline that I have developed to be successful as an honors student athlete will translate into success in any competitive college program.
The individual and team lessons I have learned through soccer and high school have prepared me well to be a leader in any program.
