My name is Joshua Mack. I am a 6' 1", 200 lb senior running back for Pittsford Sutherland High School in Rochester, New York. Its my third year at the varsity level. Last season, I earned the honor of High School Athlete of the Week by the Democrat and Chronicle And I was also Section V Player of the Week for 2 weeks in a row! I was named to the All-Greater Rochester 1st team and MVP running back for the sectional championship tournament! I also received the Most Valuable Offensive Back award. I'm a great person on and off the field. I'm also an excellent student-athlete and leader. I have great vision as a running back, high football IQ, and a strong desire to win. I believe that I will be a positive asset to any school I attend. I plan to major in business/sports marketing.
The 2015 season has been great!. I ran for 1,245 yards with 25 touchdowns on 112 carries, an average of 11.1 yards per carry. I only played the first half of 4 games due to our first half success, and I sat out one game due to minor injury. On October 2, 2015, I led my team to a 41-28 victory over the No. 4 team in the state with a fractured left hand. I had 49 carries for 353 yards and 4 TDs. I received Section V Player of the Week and Democrat & Chronicle USA Today Player of the Week. This is the second time this season I was named the Section V player of the week this season! No#1 ranked RB in New York State for 2 years in a row!
So far this year, I have led my team to a 7-0 record. We moved from a national ranking of 3600 to currently ranked 157. We are also ranked No#4 in the state. I am a great team leader and I look forward to being a great leader at the college level next year!
