Losing to the undefeated Monroe Rams, or "Goliath", at state my freshman year was eye opening. We lost the game by only two points and my team and I were heartbroken. As I walked off the court I said to myself I will never allow my self to feel this disappointed again. I believe that experience taught me something very important. If one wants to be successful at something, that person must out prepare everyone else. Not only does this exist in basketball and sports, but it also is essential to everything in life from taking a test to getting a job.
I believe I will be a great fit for any college team for several reasons: I am not a distraction on or off the court, I will always keep my grades up because I'm thankful to receive an education, and I have an unmatched work ethic. I will be beneficial to any college on and off the court.
