Personal Statement

Hockey background.

I learned to skate and began playing hockey at 9 years old, after a summer of soccer with a girls House youth hockey team.  After one season with that team, I tried out for a Boys AA Comp team in 2011/2012 season and I played boy's AA comp hockey until 2015.

I was the goalie for the Alaska Selects 2001's Boys AAA Alaska Travel team in the 2014/2015 and 2015/2016 seasons. The website can be found at

http://www.hometeamsonline.com/teams/?u=AK_SELECTS&s=hockey

In 2016, I was selected for the Pacific District Selects for girls for the state of Alaska and then attended the National camp in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Currently, I'm a Freshman at South Anchorage High school.  South High is in the Cook Inlet Conference, and the website for hockey is here:

http://www.cichockey.com/teams/default.asp?u=COOKINLETCONFERENCE&s=hockey&p=home

I am the Varsity starting goalie for the Boy's High school team. The website can be found at:

http://www.hometeamsonline.com/teams/?u=SAWH&s=hockey

My club team is the Alaska Oilers U15 Boys AAA.  The website can be found at:

Goals and Aspirations.

I want to win a Boys high school hockey state championship.  Another goal is to eventually play hockey in college at the division 1 level. My highest goal is to earn a spot on the US National team and represent my country in the Olympics. I love playing hockey and would be on the ice every day if I could be!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
