My name is Mary Beth Latta, and I am in the tenth grade. I currently attend Matsu Career and Technical High School. I am not entirely sure of what I want to be, or what I want to study in college. However, I hope to get an idea of the general direction I would like to study while in high school. I have chosen the human services therapy career path at CTHS. Studying medical has piqued my interest, and is a possibility for me in the future. Outside of school, my main passion is soccer. I started playing recreational when I was 4 years old, and made the switch to competitive soccer when I was 7. I was chosen to play for the state traveling team formerly called AKFC (Alaska Football Club), currently called Crossfire Alaska. On the field I work hard, I am a team player, and I am always aware of my surroundings. My primary position is outside defense, and my secondary positions are outside mid and center defense, however I am very versatile.
