My name is Luke Turk. I have been raised in a family that greatly values social service and leadership. I have grown up valuing visioning, goal setting, and execution to achieve my goals. Team sports have provided me many opportunities to learn and grow in these skills and qualities. My educational goals include graduating from Kentridge High School with a 3.5 GPA or higher while taking advanced classes. Beyond high school, I will work to achieve at least a bachelor's degree in an engineering field. I like and value being a positive person that works to help others and make the world a better place. Baseball and other competitive sports, along with leadership classes and workshops, have helped me to develop a foundation for continued growth as a teammate and citizen. My baseball career goals include being an excellent teammate, continuing to perform at my best at regional and national level tournaments, and earning a scholarship to play college baseball. Playing college baseball has been a goal of mine as long as I can remember. I believe in humility, hard work, learning quickly from mistakes, and moving my focus to what is next in the game or within my control to get better. I play baseball with respect for those who've played the game before me, with respect for my team, and with respect for myself.
