Personal Statement

Sir/Ma'am:

My name is Brian Uribe. I am a 14 year-old- Freshman at ACHS. I live with both my parents and younger brother in Camarillo, CA.

Baseball has been, is and will always be my love and passion.

"Quiet Leader" would accurately describe me; I prefer to show than talk. I'm very competitive and do best when challenged. I strongly believe difficult moments define you as a player and person. I'm always working and pushing myself and those around me to be better.   I’m the team-player who will have your back and pick you up when things don’t go as planned.  Teamwork makes the dream work.

Although Baseball is the game I love, and playing at a college level and beyond has always been my dream, pursuing higher education is just as important: more opportunities. Also, setting the bar high for my younger brother is of the essence.

Although I’m still in the process of choosing my Major (Engineering), with the help and guidance of my AVID Teacher and Counselor, I will soon decide.

I will continue to work hard to be  better prepared ademically and athletically. I’m certainly looking forward to what's in-store beyond High School.

Respectfully,

Brian

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
