Salvador Chavez '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Salvador Chavez and I am currently attending Schurr High School in Montebello, CA. I have played football for nine years, and started on the varsity team as a sophomore in 2011. In 2012, I played multiple positions due to injuries sustained by my teammates: defensive line, quarterback, tight end and long snapper. I am currently playing QB and I believe that I can play on either side of the ball (QB, LB, etc.) in college.

Although football is important to me, education is my number one priority. The balance of both schoolwork and sports is vital, as I would strive to make myself better in both. Location is not an issue, and my goal is to earn a degree and play football at a 4 year university.
