January 2014Personal Statement
I started wrestling as a freshman at Los Alamitos High. I started off at the freshman and junior varsity levels. Then as a sophomore I wrestled my first varsity matches. I continue to wrestle at the varsity level. The los al varsity team has won Sunset League since 2011. Next year I will be a team captain.
As a student athlete, I value my studies very much. I have taken honors and AP classes throughout high school and will continue to do so. My favorite studies are chemistry and biology. I plan on studying to become a medical doctor, field of study is still broad.
I live with both my parents, an older sister, who is in college, and younger brother, who is in high school. Between school and wrestling I try to spend time with them through extracurricular activities.
