Sofia Portello '20 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I was persuaded by my former coach to play water polo I developed the love and passion I have for the sport.  Water polo has helped my challenge myself physically and mentally. I believe its the thing that keeps me going everyday, it helps me release my stress from the world and just focus on playing the sport I admire. After four years of playing the game I have learned many valuable life lessons and memories that I will certainly never forget. I believe its formed me into the comical , responsible,  preserving, empathetic, and energetic player and person I am today. My hopes are to make it to a college level where I can challenge myself to being the best player I can be and showing my true potential.
