Hi, I'm Kanoelani Shadron.
I started playing serious volleyball in the sixth grade. I had picked up the sport from my next-door neighbor andby watching the University of Hawai'i Wahine volleyball team with my grandfather. Before playing volleyball, I swam for Mt. Hood Aquatics Swim Club from ages five to 10.
This past fall, I played for the Clackamas High School junior varsity volleyball team as a first year setter.
Currently, I play for the North Clackamas Volleyball Club top 16s team as a starter running a 6-2. I'm a versatile player. I have played middle blocker for 2 years, right side for 1 year, and this year I both set and play right side. I typically have the highest serving percentage on my team. I’ve played for NCVBC since 2013 and have enjoyed my coaches and teammates every year.
My goals are attending a college where I can pursue my passion of volleyball, while also working towardsmy Masters Degree in Nursing. After getting my masters degree and becoming a registered nurse, I hope to furthermy education to become a midwife. I hope to achieve both goals in the near future.
