Winning the Fayette County Volleyball city championship in 2015 has been the highlight of my volleyball career. My freshman year high school volleyball season has been the time i have grown the most as a player, because I had coaches pushing me hard, working me to my limits, and not allowing me to give nothing but my best. This has made me stronger as a player and a person. The reason i am who i am today is because of my dad. My Dad has never let me quit anything i have signed up to be apart of (even when i was 3) I feel this is the reason i have always been such a committed player. I also see him giving all he has in everything he does, I try to make him proud by giving my all and nothing less to the sport i love.
My interest in volleyball started when i was in 5th grade, the first time i picked up a volleyball was when my sister was at dance practice at the YMCA. I was just goofing around playing with the volleyball until some girls asked me if i wanted to play a volleyball game with them, i enjoyed the game so i asked my mom to sign me up for volleyball... Every since that day i have continued playing volleyball.
My academic goals for high school is to graduate maintaining a 3.5 GPA for each semester. I also plan to be president of student council by the time i am a senior. My academic goal for college is to graduate with a degree in education and also graduate knowing i got the best education i need to make me the most successful in life. My dream has always been to be a teacher or a psychologist because I enjoy, teaching, listening, and helping people.
I would be a great player for your team because, I play with my passion for the game. I am a very confident player, but i also know that there is always room to grow, and improve on my overall game. I also bring a good vibe with me to the court, I have a great attitude and will help my teammates shake off the bad plays and celebrate the good plays. I am also very coach able, you tell me to fix something I am doing wrong, I will fix it. With me you will gain an athlete, with great character, high academic goals, and love for the game.
