My name is Chelsea Thorpe and I've played for Chicago Elite Volleyball Club for 6 years. For high school I plan on going to Whitney Young because not only do they have a great volleyball team they also have great academics. Currently, I am 6'1 and 160 lbs in 8th grade, and have an approach jump of 9'8. I have played club volleyball since the beginning of 3rd grade and plan to continue throughout high school. I am motivated and willing to work long hours outside of practice so I can make me and my team better. I also have the ability to keep my ego in check and take pressure off of my teammates with a good attitude. I am extremely interested in the human body and musculoskeletal system and how they work which is why I'd like to be an orthopedist. No matter what I'm doing whether it's in school, volleyball or just doing chores around the house I like to give at least 110% all the time.
