Personal Statement

Playing in the state championship game my first year on a girls team was the highlight of my hockey career. However, I have grown the most as a student- athlete in my freshman year of high school. I had to balance family, school, hockey and friends at the same time. This experience helped me develop as a hockey player and as a student. I always strive to perform at my best to fulfill my goal to play hockey at a collegiate level.

I believe that I am a hard worker, I respond well to feedback and apply it to my game, and I have a positive attitude on and off the ice. I am looking for a program that is supportive of my athletic and academic goals. I believe that my work ethic would be a great addition to your team!
