Hi. I have been playing volleyball for five years and, currently, play on the varsity team, in the opposite Position. This year is my second year playing that position, and in the past, I have always played as a ds. However, it is fun to switch it up and play a new position. I have been told I am very confident on and off the court and have great leadership qualities, as well as being very coachable. I believe this comes from being a Blackbelt in TaeKwonDo and having lead multiple classes in the fundamentals of sparring and forms. Academically, I am taking all core honors classes except for English. I have been wanting to pursue a career in Kinesiology. The field of Kinesiology would allow me to receive the knowledge needed to become an athletic trainer. I would love to become a professional volleyball player and travel the world playing. However, if I cannot do that, I would want to help younger athletes stay healthy, so they can keep playing the sport they love. Also, if they do get injured, I would want to help them so they can go back to playing and being healthy. In college, I want to play on a team that feels like a family and that you can rely on. Also, I want a team that can win and lose together and improve upon each other. In college, I would also like to continue playing basketball in some form.
