If you ask me what I want to be when I grow up, I will quickly answer - a professional volleyball player. This is the same answer I have given since 2nd grade. I have always known that I want to play volleyball at the highest level.
Last school year in 6th grade, I tried out for a highly selective 7th/8th grade Elite Training Program at my club and was accepted along with other 7th graders. Then this past spring, I made the top 13U team at my club as a setter even though I'm 12U. I was excited to play for and represent my club at AAU Nationals in June. I made the Elite Training Program again this fall and I'm looking forward to my middle school and club seasons later this year.
I'm a very good student in the classroom. I'm a mostly A-student with a B every once and a while. In addition to my schoolwork and sports, I also like to do community service and help others.
I play basketball and have been on the Illinois Truth travel team for the last 2 years. I also participate in school softball where I have started on varsity for 2 years and summer swimming which I enjoy.
