Sydney Henke '20 Recruiting Profile

My sports passion was being a travel softball player for seven years, that all changed once I went to my first open gym for club volleyball. After practicing for 2 months I knew it was time to hang up my cleats and focus on my new passion, volleyball. The fast-paced excitement seems to never stop and I have loved it ever since.

My goals for college are to contribute on a strong successful team to feed my competitive nature, as well as focusing on my grades to ensure that I become successful after college. I am 6ft tall and currently play middle hitter, but I have played OH and I am willing to play wherever I need for my team to be successful. In my spare time I lend a hand helping coach my little sister’s softball team when needed. My main focus is to keep improving my volleyball skills, so I can compete at a higher level.
