Diana Haynes '10 Recruiting Profile

Hi. My name is Diana Haynes. I love to play sports. I play volleyball and softball. In volleyball, I started my freshman, sophomore, and beginning of my junior year as a middle blocker and shortly into my junior year was moved to outside hitter. This year for my senior year I am playing rightside so I am very flexible in the front row. In the offseason I work out every day after school to try to stay in shape. I work hard while practicing and playing games and try to push myself and others on and off the court. Even when everyone's down I'll try to get everyone back up and give hope. When I'm not playing sports I love to hang out with my friends. If my friends had to describe me it would probably be most helpful, optomistic, good sense of humor, caring, and friendly with nearly everyone. For my future athletics I would love to go on to at least play volleyball. I'd like to study Mass Communications, though I'm not sure what branch yet. I'd like to go to a school with a somewhat warm climate but it isn't a must. I'd like a small to medium size school (1500-5000) but again, not my only options. Christian-based is a plus too.
