Personal Statement

Aloha, I'm Carlee Cannella and currently in 10th grade at Kamehameha Schools Kapalama Campus. I’ve been playing volleyball since 5th grade and will be starting my 6th club season this fall. Volleyball is a huge part of my life and I am very passionate about it.

My first club position was as a middle blocker. I played this position for two seasons then transitioned to an OH at the beginning of the 7th grade school season. I have been a six-rotation player for the last three school seasons and last two club seasons as an OH. This club season my position will be focused on setting and hitting in a 6-2 rotation as well as playing back row with the U16s team at Rainbow Volleyball Club Hawaii.

I am working towards the goal of playing for a division one college and being able to receive a scholarship at the school of my choice. If given the opportunity, I would also like to play professionally. As I continue to work on all aspects of my game, I train year round and strive for greatness. I look forward to a great future in volleyball. Mahalo!
