Shauna Klein '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'10", Class of 2012 Outside Hitter, leading every team I've played on in kills and digs. I've played Club Volleyball for 7 years and I've started all three years High School Varsity and made all-conference every year, including this year First Team and California All-State First Team. My passion is volleyball and I started peppering on the beach with my beach-player father almost as soon as I could walk. I love to play defense as well as offense, my stats for this year are 4.7 kills per set and 3.8 digs per set. My club team last year, Absolute 16-1, competed in the Junior Olympic in the National level and finished in Bronze, and my high school team has won our competitive conference and sectionals twice for the first time in school history. I'm a leader on the court, captaining both my club and high school team, and am an athletic, quick and versatile player looking to play OH/DS/Libero college volleyball at the highest competitive level possible. I've earned high scholastic honors with a 4.0 g.p.a. reflecting how I work hard both on and off the court.
