Personal Statement
I am a 6'1" senior middle and right side hitter from Anchorage, Alaska. I have been playing club volleyball with Midnight Sun for seven years and have been a varsity starter on my high school team, South Anchorage Wolverines, for the past three years. This year our high school team acheived the triple crown (regular season, Region and State Championship), and I was named to the 1st team All-Region and 1st team All-State teams (4A). This season, I led the state in blocking and was third in hitting.
I plan on pursuing collegiate level volleyball ranging from DI-DIII. I would prefer continuing my studies toward the West Coast, but I am definitely open to any opportunites elsewhere. I plan on pursuing a major in Occupational or Physical Therapy at a school that has a good balance between academics and athletics.
