My name is Emily Stefan. I am a 5'3'', 100 lb., competitive, passionate, and committed track and field sprinter (100, 200, and 4x100). In 2016 I competed in the USATF Region 13 meet in the 200m. Throughout my track and field seasons I have been able to experience many amazing opportunities and I'm definitely looking forward to more in the future. This season, my 8th grade year, I went undefeated in all of my regular season meets, and experienced participating in the Middle School State Championships for the first time. It was amazing competing with other strong sprinters from all over Oregon. I met so many talented athletes. Not only has track and field made me who I am as an athlete, but it has changed my life completely. I have many goals (including breaking high school records for the 100 and 200, and someday competing in the olympic trials as a college student athlete). I think it really does help to have something inspiring you to keep doing what you love. Right now I'm enjoying this season and beginning my search for my perfect school, for academics and athletics. I'm keeping my eyes and ears open for any opportunities.
