Personal Statement

It's hard to describe how much I love track and field. Since I was nine years old and ran my first AAU race, I've loved being at the track, running and jumping. Getting to compete at the AAU Jr. Olympic Games was definitely a highlight of my career. I would be a good fit for a college track team because I want to work hard and improve my times every day. I take responsibility seriously and it helps create balance between my family, church, school work, my activities, and my athletics.  Getting  good grades is really important to me and I work hard to maintain them. Currently, I'm thinking I want to be an elementary teacher and track coach. I want to be a successful college track and field athlete and I'll do everything I can to make that happen.
