As an athlete, I always strive to become the best that I can possibly be. This not only goes for track, but everything in life. I set very high goals, and work as hard as I can to reach them. My goal times are as follows:
For the 100m Dash, By the end of my senior year my goal is to run a 12.00 or a high 11. For the 200m Dash, I hope to be running in the mid to low 25's, even a 24 if possible.
As a student, I have maintained a 3.5 of higher every year I have been to Whitney Young. My goal is to reach a 4.0 by the end of this year, or to reach at least a 3.6 unweighted GPA. I also hope to get at least a four in my most prominent AP class. I also wish to get a 30 or higher on the ACT.
Spiritually, my goals is to become closer to God. In order to become better at anything, I need to be more grounded in my faith, and always strive to have a better relationship with the one that allows me to do these things in the first place.
My goals are high, but definitely achievable. I believe that if I do everything in my power to succeed, I can accomplish all of these goals, and more.
