I attend a small Christian school. The high school has as a total of 260 people in it and in the whole school, K-12 there are 950 people. Due to this most kids are expected to play more than one sport. My freshman year I played 3 varsity sports; volleyball, soccer, and track. In all of these sports I have been told by my coaches that I am a very coach-able kid. Playing 3 varsity sports as a freshman has taught me that I have to be very committed and have a work hard mentality if I want to play over girls who were older than me.
I am a very fast player which comes in handy playing defense . If a ball is played over my back line I would have to say that I am best at recovering and tracking down the forward that is headed for the goal. I also always seem to find myself blocking/ deflecting shots that are headed for the goal. I feel that I am very well at reading the game and helping my teammates out on what I am seeing during the game.
