I am a sophomore at St. Joseph Notre Dame High School in Alameda, California. I ran the 400m, 200m, 4x100m, and 4x400m during my freshman year. I am also open to the 800m as my high school career progresses. I have interest in majoring in Kinesiology, American Sign Language, or Performing/Visual Arts in college.
Running track at the next level is a serious goal of mine and one that I expect to achieve. I am a fierce competitor who works hard at every practice for the sole purpose of consistently improving while becoming the strongest athlete I can possibly be. I feel that I have not even scratched the surface of my abilities and have so much untapped potential that will be realized in the coming years.
I am targeting a school and program with a family atmosphere, a coaching staff that cares about me as a person and a student in addition to an athlete, and a strong academic reputation that will challenge me. I expect to have a lifelong relationship with the school I choose. I am open to schools with both small and large enrollment as well as schools in urban, rural, and suburban settings. I am very confident that I will excel both in the classroom and on the track and will be an asset to both the school and the surrounding community.
