Summer - 2010Personal Statement
It has been my goal to play college tennis since I was 11 years old. I know I will definitely contribute to the success of my school and team. Having grown up in California I would love to stay here, but would also welcome the chance to venture out and meet that challenge. I plan on majoring in sports psychology, kinesiology or business. Scholarships and financial aid will help determine my college choice. As a junior playing USTA events in Southern California, I have done well. My ranking in the 18's is in the 60's. My High School, Palm Desert High, has won the last two CIF, Southern California Division 2 championships, and I have played singles and doubles both years. This past year and this year, I won All Desert Valley League Honors, and have been elected Captain for my Senior year. I am a dedicated student athlete and am all about the team experience!
