Hannah Cunningham '16 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I am Hannah, and I have been swimming competitively for nine years on the Vashon Seals Swim Team, which is a club team on Vashon Island. I have always loved to swim, but my passion for it is consistently growing throughout my involvement with my team and competitions. When I had to take about a year off of swimming due to an illness, I realized how much of my life is swimming, and all that it means to me. I can't go without it, and I see myself swimming for the rest of my life. I am also very focused and driven in everything I do, which includes my studies. In college I want to be able to have a balance between my swimming and academics that will set me up to eventually be working as a doctor in the field of alternative medicine and possibly doing research in life sciences.
