Hi! I am Anna Paccapaniccia. My friends call me APacc. I am a junior at Indiana High School. I usually swim the 100 breaststroke, 50 free, 200 medley relay (breaststroke), and 200 free relay. I also swim the 200 breaststroke and the 100 back when I can. This year I plan to add the 200 IM to my events. Since starting high school swimming I have decreased my times in all my events and will continue to practice hard to reach my time goals. I placed 6th in the breaststroke at the Pennsylvania state meet in 2013, improving my breaststroke time by over two seconds and moving up 5 spots from my freshman finish of 11th. I have also earned state medals in the 200 free and 200 medley relays. I qualified and swam the 50 free at the high school state meet. In addition to earning 2 varsity swimming letters, I also earned letters in soccer and track. In the classroom I have an unweighted GPA of 3.97 and will be adding AP classes to my junior schedule. This year I will put all my efforts into my swimming career. I still love to run but do so in local 5Ks. Math and Science are my favorite subjects and I plan to major in engineering. My volunteer work consists of: Relay of Life (Vice President), church usher, Key Club, Forensic Club, German Club, and Election Poll Greeter. In my spare time I like to bike, cook, run, and draw. I am driven in the pool and in the classroom. I would like to attend a university or college that will challenge me in the classroom and in the pool. It is my hope that I will contribute to the overall success of a team. Thank you for taking the time to learn about me. Please contact me if you feel I could be a welcome addition to your school and team. Anna
