Personal Statement
Hello my name is Kendall Branan and I am a runner from Indiana County High School. got second in Wipials cross country AA with a 16:57. Also I got first in the indiana county meet Also I went to AA cross country states and ran a 16:35 getting 11th and going to regionals on november 31st.
My running career started when I was in 8th grade and I ran a 11:25 2 mile breaking our Junior High record then at the end on the year i ran a 4:58 and broke our mile record. Then when I moved to the high school I decided that I wanted to get a scholarship and that is how this website was started. I am a Cross country runner and a distance runner in my school. The events I do in track are the 1600, 800, 400 and sometimes 2 Mile. I am the first or second leg in my 4x800 team my leg time is a 2:04. Also In Cross Country my PR is a 16:18. I would like to go to a school that would offer Filming and editing. What I want to do is be a editor for movies and films but I would also like to film them. My GPA at the moment is a 3.6. Last week our 4x8 team broke the Indiana County meet recorded that stood for 35 years and this week in west central coaches meet we won the 4x8. I placed 7th in the 400 and our 4x4 got 6th. This week we a going to norwin to see if I can break 52.0 in the 400 to make it to Wipials.

- They are a running group that runs 5 miles every Monday at 6:00PM and its just a recreational club were you can run and talk to other runners. Supports road running youth clubs 5ks and high school teams. They also keep track of times and 5ks on there website.

- 200 Repeats in outdoor High School Track

- we run 200s at a 30 sec. pace then walk the turn jog the straightaway then we go into it again we usually do it 8-10 times.
- 1 min. 20 sec. hill sprints Outdoor Track
- 1 year
- We sprint up a hill as quick as you can go for a minute and twenty seconds once we reach the time we jog down and do it again usually for 25 minutes
- 40 minute easy day runs
- 1 year
- After every meet we have a warm up then a 40 minute easy run at usually at a 8:00 min. mile pace
