I was never really an age group winner when I first started, and as I got older I started putting in more time at practice, and with those practices I began to see results. I work incredibly hard for every second that I drop, I love competition and being a part of a team! I look forward to swimming in college, wherever that may be!

- I dropped about 0.7 in my 100 back and placed 25th- I was very excited to experience my first tournament- style swim meet!

- 2017 Great Lakes Zone Championship Meet
- I qualified for this meet in 5 races- 1000 free, 400 IM, 200 back, 100 back, 50 back. However, my main focus for this meet was to qualify for Nationals in the 100 backstroke. Due to confusion and miscalculation in tapering for the high school season and for the club season, I did not qualify, but I was able to hold a 1:00.3 and lower for all four of my attempted time trials.
