Chloe Widman '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Chloe Widman and I will be graduating high school in 2020. I was a tiny toddler when I first started swimming classes with my mother. Throughout the lessons, I was fearless in the water and constantly tried to swim independently. Before I even started kindergarten, I joined the summer swim team for my local pool. Over the summer of 2007, I fell in love with the sport. Just the next year, I started swimming year-round. I have been a competitive swimmer for 10 years and have swum year-round for 9 years. I am a student at Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Greenbelt, Maryland and I am a member of the rigorous Science and Technology Research program. I have been playing oboe for 6 years and have been ranked as a Superior Solo Performer for 6 years at the county level and 2 years at the state level. What sets me apart from other students is my work ethic and drive to succeed in my activities. I would like to attend a school that will challenge me academically and push me athletically. I look forward to working hard in the pool and in school at a university in 2020!
