2017 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Ever since I was 6 I knew I had a huge love for the sport of swimming, and knew I would want to continue with it into college. I have always looked up to higher level swimmers and aspired to swim as fast as they swim, and I think continuing my swimming career into college could help me achieve my goals of being an elite swimmer.
I am a very competitive swimmer and swimming is one of my top priorities. I am very coachable and will work hard to get to the next level of swimming. My technique and speed is also something that will help me achieve that goal. I am also a team leader. I try to set a good example for my other teammates by working hard and having a positive attitude in and out of the pool.
Hard work also carries into the classroom, where I work hard to get the best GPA possible. I also attend teen ministries most Sundays and go to community service opportunities such as feed my starving children, a food pantry.
I hope to find the best fitting college at the highest level of swimming for me, that both pushes me to work harder in the pool and in the classroom. I want to make my parents, coaches, and myself proud at the end of this experience.Athletics
