Jordan Gruce '23 Recruiting Profile

Thank you for taking time to look at my profile! I am a passionate and self-driven swimmer who strives to be the best I can be, both in and out of the pool.  After trying multiple sports when I was younger, the pool has come to be my second home.  I am currently part of a club team that is very dedicated to instilling character and life skills in their athletes.  Being a member of such a driven team has taught me many things about team work, leadership, respect, communication and much more both on and off the pool deck.  I have been recognized for these traits and many more by receiving ‘Swimmer of the Year’ awards, as well as ‘Most Outstanding Swimmer’, for six consecutive years.  After swimming for eight years, I have  established how to learn from my mistakes and always focus on becoming a better student, athlete and person.

I am a responsible, dedicated and positive team member.  Being a highly competitive person drives me to become better and help my teammates progress too.  One of my ultimate goals is to swim in college and pursue a career in forensic psychology.  As a freshman I am open to all types of colleges and opportunities.
