Jennifer Brus '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jennifer Brus and I am a senior from Puyallup, Washington. I am very coachable and always give 110% to my coach and my teammates. I also know the meaning of hard work and overcoming adversity. In 2009 I tore my right ACL, but I did not waste time crying about it and instead I put my entire heart, mind, and soul into my rehabilitation. During my months of recovery it was agonizing every time I passed a soccer field, but my passion for soccer and my determination to return only grew stronger. I missed my sophomore season of high school soccer, but did not miss my next club season. I have been playing for 2 1/2 years now and not only do I feel great, but I feel I am a better and smarter player than ever before. I bring intensity to my team and the ability to influence the level of play in a positive direction. My goal is to master any position I play. I am looking for a college team that will allow me to play at the highest level of competition possible and challenge me to realize my full potential as a player. My academic goals are to major in Nursing with the intention of going on to be either a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician's Assistant.
