I fell in love with soccer from the moment I started playing at four-years-old. My dad was a Division I goalkeeper, so I naturally gravitated to the goal at an early age and have trained as a full-time keeper for six years now. Outside of academics, being a goalkeeper is my greatest passion.
My collegiate aspirations include finding a great school to pursue Chemistry/Pharmacy (and eventually obtain my PharmD), while offering the opportunity to fulfill my dream of playing soccer at the next level.
While in middle school, I moved from Orlando to the Philadelphia area. The Region I competition and strong soccer programs in the area have helped me develop even more as a player. I play EDP, receive additional keeper training at Just4Keepers of East PA, and I attend speed, agility, and weight training sessions weekly. I have added high school league play in this summer, as well as started training in the goal for PAE's 2018 women's team that will be traveling to Ireland to compete in the Limerick Cup.
With moving to four different states as a child, I am versatile and flexible: I am willing to go to most areas for college. I am adaptable and coachable in all ways. This has helped me obtain "Overall Student of the Quarter" multiple times and other academic/character-based awards, like National Junior Honor Society. My teachers have also recommended me for all Honors classes entering my freshman year. I am currently an "All A" student in all advanced classes.
Thank you in advance for the opportunity, Brooklynn Hudgins (GK 2021)
