2017 Highlights Personal Statement
I believe that I have the combination of size, speed, skill, grades, and commitment to play soccer at a top college. Five different people in my family have played a Division 1 sport in college. This is important because I understand the level of commitment and preparation in the classroom and on the field needed to play at a high level in college. I am only beginning to reach my potential and am working every day to improve in the classroom, on the field, and in the gym. Every team I have played for has been a winner and making the team better is my best attribute. I enjoy scoring goals but also work hard as a target forward to receive passes, control possession to build an attack, and win balls in the air. I also take a lot of pride in being active on defense.
