Lauren Methner '23 Recruiting Profile

Soccer is a game that I first fell in love with when I was just four years old. Throughout my whole life playing it, I never found a moment where I didn't enjoy every minute out there on the field. Even though soccer is my passion, I have also found a love for basketball. My freshman year at my high school I was the starting forward for the Varsity team. My average that season was five points and six rebounds a game. I work well with others and I never give less than what I have. I believe that academics come before athletics, but both are very important. My first year playing high school soccer I made the varsity team, which has always been a dream of mine. I am looking forward to the future and the challenges that lie ahead.
