I am a 5’ 8” defender from Glenarm, Illinois. I have started on the Glenwood High School varsity soccer team for the past two years, and I earned Central State Eight First Team All- Conference last year. Although my primary position on my team is defender, my coach has used me in many positions over the past two years including forward and defensive midfield. I am known for my speed, and I am the player my coach turns to when he needs an opposing player to be marked up during a game. I am a leader both on and off the field for my team. As a multi-sport athlete and active member of many clubs, I have still been able to maintain a 4.542/5.0 GPA.
My goal is to continue playing soccer beyond high school. I am first looking for a university that will provide me with a quality education for my future career as a registered nurse. I would like to stay within a 4 hour radius of central Illinois so that my family can continue to watch me play soccer. Soccer has been a part of my life since I was four years old and I am not ready to hang up my cleats. I want to attend a college where I can make a contribution to the soccer program and the university.
