One trait I would say really defines me would be my passion. Whatever I put my mind to I am passionate about and I will work towards it with every ounce of energy I have. In soccer, I try to be the hardest-working player on the field. I may not always be the best physical player, but I always can outwork my opponent. An example of this would be the fact that I started playing soccer in middle school, while most girls started playing on their first teams early in elementary school. My passion and character made that time gap irrelevant. Now I am competing with those girls today.
This transfers to my academics as well. When it comes to colleges, I know that athletics and academics go hand in hand. It hasn't been easy but I have kept a high GPA so far in 9th and 10th grade. I plan on continuing to take rigorous AP classes throughout high school and continue my weekly volunteering in the surgical unit at St. Josephs hospital.
Overall, I believe that my work rate and love for the game will make me a good candidate for your soccer team and school.
