I am a 5'2" right midfielder from Altadena, CA and will graduate in the year of 2020. I have been a varsity starter on the John Muir High School Soccer team this year, as a freshman. I earned a spot on the CZ Elite FC U17 Flight 2 team as a thirteen year old. I am looking for a school where I would be challenged for both my education and athletics. A school with an exceptional Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program and even more ideal if an elementary education major can be achieved. I am willing to do everything in my power to show that I am deserving to play and stay off the bench, but most importantly willing to make the necessary sacrifices to better the team even if it means sitting on the bench from time to time, preferably as little as possible. I am experienced with most of the positions on the field and would be prepared to play any of them.
Even though I live in Altadena I think it is very crucial that I keep a broad view of my surroundings. Based on my families current financial situation it would be a lot easier and economic for me to stay close to home, here in California. However, my father continues to emphasize that if I focus and work hard enough financially there will always be someone there to help. With this in mind, I understand the importance of the education that my athletic ability can assist with. My current financial situation will not deter me from achieving my academic goals, even as an athlete.
