Isabelle Montez '21 Recruiting Profile

I began playing soccer at a young age. I grew up watching my older sister play soccer, and in the beginning I was driven by a desire to be better than her on the field. However, once I started playing competitively, I developed a genuine love for the sport and hanging out with my teammates on and off the field. Then in 2014, I came to the realization that I wanted to play at the collegiate level after watching my sister go through the recruiting process and eventually committing to a Division III college. At that point, I became committed to pursuing that dream.

Apart from soccer, I have a passion for baking. When I'm not on the field I'm in the kitchen baking cupcakes, brownies, and cookies for family and friends. My ultimate goal is to own a dessert shop, and therefore I'm interested in pursuing a business degree.
