Lindsey Covell '15 Recruiting Profile

During my college experience I plan to excel through my academics to prepare myself for a future in a Medical Science career, while furthering my passion of playing lacrosse. I believe that through hard work and dedication by a team as a whole, the possibility of goals that can be achieved are endless. It is not impossible to overcome adversity and I know this first hand from having to come back from two major ACL surgeries. Through two extensive rehabs, I have enhanced my qualities of determination, responsibility, and intensity as an athlete and as a person, and then brought these qualities back to the field when I returned. I think inspiring and motivating your team mates around you gives off the positive mindset that is key to transcend both on and off the field. Overall I am looking for a memorable and enjoyable experience where I can continue my education and lacrosse career while also meeting new people and creating new friendships.
