Hello, my name is Brady Gibble and I am currently a freshman at Wilson High School in West Lawn, PA (6A school). My twin brother and I were born on July 27, 2001 in Reading, PA. I am 6’1”, 165 lbs and a left-handed hitter and fielder. My primary position is Center Field, but I also play 1B and a LHP. I have consistently been one of the fastest students in my grade.
In my own words, I love the game of baseball and have been a student of the game ever since I was six years old. I go out on the field and give it 110% every day, and work hard to get better in all aspects of the game. I try to be a leader on the field, by communicating to my teammates and coaches as much as possible. My grandpa and father have been a big influence because they taught and practiced the game with me for as long as I can remember. My coaches have also made a great impact on me, because I would not be the person I am today and have the skills that I have without them. They have consistently told me I am very coachable and have high baseball IQ. In the past, I was consistently selected for travel/all-star teams. Last year I was a starting outfielder on my Jr. Legion team as a 14 year old. Everyday I try to become a better student and baseball player.
Grades are very important to my family and me as I strive to get A’s, and maintain over a 3.5 GPA. When I am not on the field, working out, or studying, I like to spend time with my family and also hang out with my friends and play other sports, such as football or basketball. Last fall I was a WR, OLB, and KR for our freshman football team (and have played football since I was 6). I also played basketball through elementary and middle school but used this winter to focus more on strength training, conditioning and skills drills for baseball. In conclusion, I would like to let all the potential colleges interested in me know that I am a hard worker, and will not only try to make myself better, but also my teammates. Thank you for your consideration.
