Hannah Spease '20 Recruiting Profile

Hello!  My name is Hannah Spease.  I am a Sophomore at The Hill School, which is a private college prep boarding school, located in Pottstown, PA.  When not away at school, I live in Bethlehem, PA.  At The Hill School, I have played 2 Varsity sports since my Freshman year:  Lacrosse and Ice Hockey.  Although lacrosse is my passion, I dedicate November-February traveling with my  ice hockey team for a busy season along the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast Coast.  For lacrosse, I play not only for my high school Varsity team, but also for T3 West Elite Club.  I play both midfield and attack and am left hand dominant.  Playing these sports, which is very time consuming and requires me to be away from my school often, have taught me the importance of time management, teamwork, and dedication.  When I am not on the field or on the ice, I participate in Strength and Conditioning through my school.  In addition to sports, I am involved in many extra curricular activities such as: Operation Smile, Boys and Girls Club, Hockey Helps, and Girls Understanding Their Strengths Club.  I am also a tour Guide for my school.  I  maintain a 3.77 GPA with honors courses as well.  Boarding school has taught me the importance of working with many different people in many different situations.  Also, it teaches me to balance my life so I maintain good grades while participating in sports and other activities.  My hope and goal is to continue to play lacrosse in college.
